Indian Inc. has raked in a staggering pile of wealth, wherein the country’s top 10 most valuable companies, including Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries and tech powerhouse TCS– posted a combined valuation that's bigger than Saudi Arabia's GDP.
Interestingly, Hurun’s 2024 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 list showcases how far India Inc. has gone to remain competitive in the world.
According to the report, the value of top 10 companies surged by Rs 22.7 lakh crore to Rs 96 lakh crore, which is one-third of India’s GDP. Bharti Airtel has contributed the highest value in absolute terms, adding more than Rs 4 lakh crore in 2024.
